Here I am, all the way in Switzerland, taking care of my 96 year old grandmother with the "help" of my 1-1/2 year old daughter!  Being here, far from home, and also far from my glass kiln and supplies, I'm focusing on finally getting more of my pieces added to my etsy shop!  Shortly before I left (it was a bit of a last minute, emergency trip - my grandma landed in the hospital and they wouldn't let her return home without someone there to take care of her) I took photos of a collection of dichroic glass pendants and earrings that I just hadn't gotten to yet - so I'm excited that they'll finally be "out there" for all of you to enjoy:). I've been busily gathering together and finishing up some new jewelry to bring with me to the local Etsy craft day this coming Friday.  I'm very excited to meet the other local artisans from the Etsy team, have some fun, share some art and ideas!  Not to mention a potluck and live music. Tomorrow morning I will get to open the kiln to a few brand new pieces.  Always thrilling. Today is one of those days when I just wish I could multiply myself!  I am determined to get a fresh batch of small dichroic glass pendants and earrings fused tonight - but that requires actually getting them done!  Which, with a one year old daughter running around the house, is easier said than done.  At the moment she's climbing around on my computer, trying to make sure that I can't possibly get this post up.  I'm excited about the new batch of jewelry though, I bought some new glass that I've never used before, and I just can't wait to open the kiln tomorrow morning and see what I get.  That's the best part about making dichroic glass je
